Tasweerein means photos in Hindi and probably Urdu as well. I am an amateur photograher and had been toying with the idea of creating a photoblog since a long time and had been putting it off until today.

Photography is a passionate hobby and I intend to keep it that way. As John Sexton puts it: “I will always be an amateur photographer in the sense that an amateur is someone who does something not because they are paid but because of passion.” I did sell some images that I took during the Toronto International Film Festival but that was more of an exception than anything else.
